Directions:


From Rte 128 or Route 9:  Route 16 Exit, proceed south for three fourths of a mile;
(two miles from 128) left on Rice Street, school ahead.  Park in school lot.



Course:


Flat to rolling 5 mile route in suburban Wellesley;  certified.



Entry Fee:


$12 before 7/1 ($15 after 7/1);  checks payable to Marathon Sports 5 Miler Road Race.

History:


This race was originally know as Nike Wellesley 5 Mile, held on the second Tuesday in July.
Extremely popular on the summer evening running circuit, the race ran for seventeen years until 1992.  Last year marked the 21st Anniversary of the race.  Marathon Sports and Puma are happy to kep the tradition and spirit of the road race alive.
