A: Why it's the Red Rooster Ramble of course!!!

The first race of the 8 week series was a policy setter - RAIN or SHINE. After who knows how many months of drought, leave it to the RIRR's to do their voodoo magic and bring rain to the state. Gillian and Elaine crossed the finish line neck and neck. The photographs are being computer analyzed and researched by a top team of chronological experts to determine 1st place. We are sure that the dynamic duo could have actually finished much sooner were it not for some on-the-course entertainment provided by two dueling locals of the female variety. Shortly behind the two was Joe who denies sticking around to place bets on the catfight at the half-mile point - we have our doubts...
