The inaugural running of the Tyngsborough Scholarship 5K, April 6, 1997,
drew 98 runners on a gray cool Sunday (50's).
Enthusism was high. The spectators cheered for the fun run, the recreational
runners and the serious runners alike. Everyone stayed around for the post race
music, food and scores so it was a great time that raised $1000 for the
scholarship trust. A success all round due to our wonderful sponsors, our
volunteers and especially to those runners who raised pledge money!
A special thanks to our FundRaising Champions:
