15th SCT Marathon

Worcester, MA

On the same day that 9558 runners completed the 25th Falmouth Road Race, 10 finished the 15th SCT Marathon.

While the skies were overcast and the temperature was in the low 70's at the 7:00 a.m. start, conditions changed rapidly. By mid-race the skies had cleared, the temperature had climbed into the 80's and the humidity was high. Add hills - plenty of them - to the mix and there is little question as to why only 10 of the 17 starters managed to finish.

The conditions were less than ideal, but the cost was absolutely ideal - $0. As always, the SCT Marathon was presented at no cost to those willing to run. Yes, a T-shirt is included.
