BUCHANAN AND HICKEY WIN SUMMER SERIES 11-MILER

Silvermine School was the setting for the hilly 11 Mile Race. George Buchanan was the winner with a time of 1:05:41. Peter Hohmeister took second place, with a time of 1:06:26. Eric Karl followed in third place, with a time of 1:07:17. Meg Hickey was the first place woman with a time of 1:17:40. Meghan Alger was second with a time of 1:23:58, and Nancy Vasta captured third place with a time of 1:26:33.

A total of 80 runners finished the race on beautiful a sunny day.

The temperature was about 70 degrees, with a low humidity level.
