The Tot Trot
Distance 3.1 In Boston 08/8/96

What an unique event! What a great time! The first annual Tot Trot was
a hugh success. The traffic free Arnold Arboretum provided a safe and
festive atmosphere even with the threat of rain and mist. The Kids race
was first and the excitement as the kids crossed the finish line rubbed
off to their parents who were competing next. Mayor Menino Started both
races which were sponsored by Belmont Wheelworks, The Baby Jogger Company,
Marathon Sports, Edan Company among many others. Prizes were awarded to
first Male and Female crossing the line with their tot both open and
Masters and for first twinner. The highlight of the race had to be a
custom triple coming across the line with three tots. Everyone had praise
for Liza Draper who's great effort as race director showed on race day.
