Congratulations to Ed Sato of Worcester who completed his 100th road race of the year when he crossed the finish line at CMS 52-Week 5K Series Race #51. While the completing of 100 races in a calendar year is a relatively rare phenomenom, it is all the more so in Ed's case. Ed is age 68.

Ed, along with the other 25 finishers, also accomplished something else that has been done a limited number of times in the annals of road racing - starting a race in one season and finishing it in another. The race began at 9:00AM, six minutes before the official ending of fall and the beginning of winter, and concluded for each runner between 9:16:56 and 9:27:09.
