The 1st annual Frog Jog 5K/10K run was held in Golden Gate Park, Sun. Aug.
11 in good weather. Start was at 8:30 AM. There were 832 registered, and
656 finishers (combined). Prizes were awarded to the top 3 men and women in
both races in the following age groups:
0-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-up.
The course was NOT certified.
The overall winners in the 5K were Carmelo Rios (15:27) and Laura Sandoval
(18:47). In the 10K, the winners were Will Allan (32:09) and Sissel
Berntsen-Heb... (37:21).
