Beautiful weather was had for the inaugural Beaver Brook XC Challenge in Hollis, NH. Although heavy rains the two previous days made parts of an already challenging course moreso including a small water jump done twice and a final 75m in a quagmire of mud. The '5K' was wheel measured at 3.26M. 75 finishers enjoy the fresh New England air, many colored trees and tasty apple crisp after a romp through wood roads, fields and trails on the Beaver Brook Association conservation property.
