then rain ten minutes into the race. Hard downpour after 20 minutes. Awards ceremony washed out. Empty award envelopes given by mistake ( shall
be remedied ). Before the start,Joellen
Cameron made very humorous and complimentary remarks to the throng on the
completion of 25 seasons of the Nton5kX-CRaces and presented the Grants (
Don, Sue & April ) with a handsome clock. Volunteers: Bob Bissell, Sue and
April Grant, Bryon Dailey and many others helped shift all the soggy stuff into
the belly of our great white whale. We had our second best attendanceaveraging 78 finishers over 26 weeks despite
10+ rainy days. Next series begins
