Tonight’s run was a little light on the participant side. However, the post race festivities were well attended.  Many of our regulars were out running the 115^th Boston Marathon, that’s 26.2 miles for the uninitiated, and most retreated to the Grey Hound for a post race war story session.  Tales of blisters, black toes, and violations of body glide application instructions ruled the night.

Our Pal Jason Reed from Cali made his annual post Marathon pilgrimage to the Grey Hound and tagging along was his lady friend.  Everybody was too busy wondering how Jason managed to snatch her up to remember what her name is. The words “Out of his league” were tossed about.  It’s ok to say that because he won’t be back for another year by which time he’ll forget that he read this.

Congrats to all our Monday Nighters who ran today. Many PR’s (personal records not Puerto Ricans) were set on what turned out to be a perfect marathon Monday.

Join us next Monday Night for more fun and silly stuff and of course our wheel measured, flat, fast 3 mile race route.  There is a rumor floating about that there is going to be some sort of Hot Wing Throwdown by a couple of our crazies one of whom has a low tolerance for anything spicy. Tears WILL BE SHED. You do not want to miss this.
