7th Annual Family Walk/Run- A Big Thank You!

Fitness Concepts Health Club 7th Annual 5K Family Run/Walk

Fitness Concepts Health Club in Gardner held their 7th Annual 5K Family Run/Walk on May 22nd with just around 175 race participants. All proceeds from the race went to benefit Gardner’s Northeast Veterans Training & Rehabilitation Center, a total of $2100 this year! The 5K race started and finished at Fitness Concepts Health Club. Walkers started at 9:30 a.m.; runners at 10:00 a.m. There was also a Kidfit .3 mile run for a $5 donation that started at 9:15am

Cash prizes were awarded for Male and Female first and second place finishers. All Kidfit finishers received a medal.

The Northeast Veteran Training & Rehabilitation Center in Gardner provides medical, psychological, spiritual care and education to veterans who are diagnosed with terminal illness, are elderly and/or disabled or otherwise in need. All programming is drug and alcohol free. Thank you to all who participated and made donations, this race is only so successful year after year because of you!
