It rained, again. The wisest amongst the group stayed indoors. The rest of us played in the puddles.

This week there were stories about boy scouts, beaver patrols, and deliberately set forest fires that I am just not comfortable repeating. I mean all three items were actually one incident and I'm not sure there is a statute of limitations that  would provide any legal protection at this point so I'll keep quiet for now.

It is said that 2012 will bring the end of the world according to the Mayan calendar.  One could argue that the end has come, and the end is now. No sooner than an article about our run written by Scott Schaffer Duffy, religious "activist" appeared in the Radical Catholic newsletter, have we experienced epic rainfall and flooding. Not a dry Monday has been seen in sometime. As if that wasn't proof enough of some higher power intervening in our lives, take a look-see at the following results.  Old man Duffy managed to eek out a win over Johnny "greased lightning" Pajer in an upset that can only be described as unprecedented. Folks, prepare for imminent disaster, for it is upon us.

Fortunately we, and all of our brothers and sisters of this great land can look to one man, a hero, a guiding light in a world of dimwits, someone with the audacity, the tenacity, the stupidity to step up and say "follow me, I will lead the way for I stand very tall." Who is this man? How can we find him?  We must look no further the the World Wide Web.   Grab some tissues, check out this link and prepare to be wowed and inspired.  If this doesn't bring a tear to your eye you have no soul.    http://en.tackfilm.se/?id=1270047244181RA64
