Hop River Trail – Bolton / Vernon

The course was run on the Rails to Trails section of the Bolton to Vernon section and 90% was covered with snow.  The course was wheel measured at a distance of 3.22 miles.  Course monitors were Jim Hodges and Rich White accompanied by Toby White their canine companion.  In addition, we had 3 dogs that ran, and one dog that guarded the snowman (dressed as a runner) that Janit and Marylou built for Ray near his bench at Mile 2.  After the race we feasted on day old goodies donated by Panera Bread in the Commuter Lot in Bolton on Rt. 6 & 44.  Ray would have approved!!

Regards, Janit R & Marylou W, Race Directors
