Mine Falls Summer Trail Race Series - Race #6 - Team Relay

Race Story:

Race #6 - The Team Relay - marks the end of the first half of the 2009 Summer Trail Series.
Teams of 3 (in the 5k), 2 (in the 5m) and 1 (in some cases for both) battled it out in the woods.
And, random medals (from other races) were given out indiscrimately until they were gone.

The winners for the 5k race was O'Briens Recovery (Joe Lyons, Jimmy Walker & Ryan Coere)
who finished in 17:14 ahead of the 3 Stooges. On the Women side of the 5k ACK Girls
(Emilie Newsham & Wendy Newsham) finished ahead of the LED girls with a time of 24:38.
In the 5m Mark Wimmer proved that one is better than two as he single handedly defeated
Nick is Always Late by just over a minute (hopefully not due to Nick actually being late).
And, for the women Team LP (Peggy Lai & Leah Demarest) plucked the The Peacocks.
