Double J - Jim Johnson of Salem, NH - did it again, winning his 6th (out of 7) New Hampshire snowshoe race
of the season. Once again JJ dominated as he blew away the field by more than 5 minutes to take the title
at the 2nd Annual Horse Hill 7K Snowshoe Race in Merrimack, NH. JJ took advantage of the hard-packed
course to run an amazing 7:04 pace over the 7K course - which included summitting Horse Hill once and the
slightly lower Blodgett Hill twice.
Steve Wolfe continued his great winter, taking 2nd overall and the Master's title over teammate Chris
Dunn of acidotic RACING. Steve and Chris led acidotic to their 5th win in 5 races in the Granite State
Snowshoe Series.
acidotic's Liz Hall finally broke into the winners circle as she outpaced the ladies for a 42:25 - 43:34
victory over Master Laurel Valley. Dungeon Rock Racing's Emily Trespas took 3rd in her first ever snow-
shoe race.
Scott Graham and Diane Levesque continued their winning ways in the Seniors division and newcomer Bob Lux
took home the Veterans title.
Brother and sister Ben and Cameron Bacher (13 and 9 years old respectively) led the way in the 2K.
Only 3 more races remain in the New Hampshire snowshoe racing season - next week's SOLD OUT Kingman Farm
Moonlight Madness; the Joppa Hill Snowshoe Sprint in Bedford on Feb. 28; and the Pat's Peak 8K Snowshoe
Relay in Henniker on March 14. Strap on yours shoes and get out there...
