Happy "birthday month" to Cyndy "de Mayo" Curley.  If Ma and Pa Johnson hadn't piloted the old Buick up to inspiration point back in '67 we may not have a Cyndy Curley birthday month to celebrate and thus no Monday night run, but they did and we do! 

There is not enough room in my brain for too much creativity and sometimes the same thing gets repeated as though it was new information. As such I had to go down to the archives to make sure I didn't write the same thing as last May 5th.  Turns out I did not. I did notice that the winner of last years Cyndy de Mayo run was none other than Rich Head from Ballville. I hear things are a little hairy out in Ballville so Rich couldn't make it by tonight. Too bad, he missed a good time. No drunken marathon pacts this year but we did have fresh urinal cakes in the men's room and we got to see barkeep Paul Curley adjust the color on one of the TV's. You just can't get this kind of fun anymore. Come on down next week, we're planning such festive activities as glass washing, refrigerator defrosting and if time allows we might dust the disco ball. It's going to be awesome!
