And
in the end . . .
"And,
in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make." - Lennon/McCarthy
That is one of
my favorite lines from the Beatles song The End. It comes to mind
because it is somewhat analogous to running. Isn't it true that in the
end the run you take is equal to the effort you make?
Over the
last ten weeks many Good Times participants have extended extraordinary
effort in trying to run their best. Look no further then the incredible
amount of personal records that have been set on our course as evidence.
Last night
was the finale of the Springtime Good Times Series and in the end it
was Erica Paton and Tim Burke sitting atop the leader board. Both runners
demonstrated good consistent running week-after-week and that is what it
takes to be a Good Times champion. Congratulations to both our champions.
They get a golden pass for the Summer
Series.
We also crowned
our division champions and awarded over 70 Golden Mylies to those who
finished all ten events. Take a look at our photo album to see all of
our winners.

Next Up
We take next week off before starting our Summer
Series on Tuesday, June 23rd. I am really excited about this year's
Summer Series.
It looks like it is going to be our best ever. The themes are a bit zanier
then the springtime and the weather a bit warmer making the after race
festivities even better. So I hope you can join us. And as always,
we can't guarantee you will run a fast time, but we promise you will have
a good time at the Good Times Series.
