Every
t-shirt tells a story, don't it?
Imagine
if people from another planet were given a box of t-shirts as clues to
decipher our civilization. Chances are they would come to the conclusion
that we like to have fun. That is exactly what we had at last night's
Classic T-Shirt race.
There
was long ones, tall ones, short ones, brown ones,
Black ones, round ones, big ones, crazy ones
What make
a t-shirt classic? I'll let you in on a little secret . . . it's the person
wearing it. Last night we had vintage shirts, rock band shirts, old team
sports shirts, home made shirts, funny looking shirts, shirts from far
away places like Iraq and just about every other category you can imagine.
The oldest
shirt last night was worn by Claire Cloutier. It was from the 1978 Bonny
Belle and was printed before 63 of our finishers were born. To view photos
of the shirts and the people in them click

Endless
spring
This may just go down as the year without summer. We had another cool
and damp evening at the Good Times. These conditions are not ideal for
the beach, but they are great for running as 88 Good Times course PRs
were set. Additionally we had a record 240 finishers!
In attendance
last evening was photographer extraordinaire Jim Rhoades. He was positioned
at two points along the Good Times course, so chances are he photographed
everyone. Check out the photos by clicking

Next Up
Next week, July 7, is our Reverse the Course 5K. This is always a lot
of fun as we run the bridge loop in the reverse direction. Or as some
will tell you, "the fast way." So I hope you can join us. And
as always, we can't promise you'll run a fast time, but we guarantee
you'll have a Good Time at the Good Times Series.
