First and second place were decided before "go" was yelled tonight. the only question was who would be in which position. Turned out to be not much of a question. Young Charles took off like a gazelle with Super Mario close behind. Didn't take long for Mario "I know what shoes you wear" Fraioli to plant himself right up in front where he usually is and of course belongs. A whuppin was put on the rest of us and I don't think those guys broke a sweat in the process.

This Sunday is the thirtieth running of "Stus 30K" starting in Clinton and rounding the Wachusett Reservoir. Looks like a large field will be lining up to take in the hills of Central Mass. Come out and run with us or if that isn't your idea of fun volunteers are welcome and appreciated.

Good news from Fallon Community Health Plan (Primary sponsor of the Canal Diggers 5km) for those of us that receive their health benefits. Road Race fees have been added to the "it fits" program for 2009. Run some races get the fees reimbursed. Not a bad deal.
