Race info

Young Ernesto Soto of CMS fame started late and still managed a second place finish this week. The guy is just that fast!

The Wittemore family, known for their polish fare, <insert ethnically insensitive polish joke here> pulled a fast one and went with an Italian angle tonight. Homemade meatballs and sub rolls made for a nice post race meal along with the anti-pasto salad courtesy of our gracious hosts Paul and Cyndy Curley, and my better half, Mrs. Stevens provided the brownies. Lot's of good stuff!

This Friday, the 4th of July, do not miss the 59th running of the Leonide J Lemire 4.9 mile road race to be held in beautiful Southbridge Massachusetts. Our Monday night moral compass and all around good person, Tracy Flynn is the race director for this event and why not show some appreciation for the woman. Now God knows runners migrate like lemmings to any race with an abundance of free stuff and this race promises not to disappoint. Tracy has been shopping feverishly over the last few weeks and with a healthy budget there is no doubt that the booty seekers shall be rewarded. For more info check the CMS calendar....Or just show up at the VFW Post 6055, Everett St Southbridge Ma. The race starts at 9 AM and day of race is only 8 bucks

Finally, the An Cu Liath City Run Board of Governors is in the process of planning a new and improved route for our Monday night run. The leading candidate at this point takes us down Water St, Shrewsbury St and Green St, three of the hottest streets in the city loaded with restaurants, bars, people and general liveliness, things that our current route lacks on some parts. Should be a fun run passing by lots of open windows and folks hanging out at those hotspots. Maybe a few ill join us for our run at some point....Stay tuned....
