Wow!  Where did the time go to?  We are already half way through the series and it seems 	
like we just started these trail runs.  Very little humidity this week with the temps just 	
a bit cooler.  We got 3 more runners total this week with 15 people still in the running 	
for the series t-shirt.  	
	
Mike Weinberg, touring the course for the first time, ran just fast enough to take the 	
overall spot.  Karen McGahie placed first on the women's side, first master, and first 	
for the people who ran last week too.  Karen's daughter Kaitlyn was just over a minute 	
back from Mom as she finished as first Juniors.  Even though this was Kaitlyn's first 	
time running this series, she did have a bit of advantage, as these trails are also used 	
for the Tahanto XC course.  Mom was heard afterwards saying she has a new respect for how 	
the runners feel coming up the final stretch and why they may not be able to kick it it.	  
What you can't tell from looking at the runners coming towards the finish is they just 	
came up one of the steepest sections of the course just before coming into sight.	
	
Continuing through the results, Sam Levitin, also from CMS, was first Men's Master, while 	
Alex Chase came in first for the Women's Open spot.  Rouding out the Category winners was 	
Peter Wojtas and Karen Berni-Giarusso as First Seniors, Paul Chamberlin in the Veterans 
and Stu Thurston as first in the Super Vets as well as the first runner to bandit his own 
race.  Yours truly was trying to figure out why we counted 34 runners come through the 
start/finish area after the opening loop when we only gave out 	33 bib numbers.  As 
tomorrow is Stu's Birthday, we thought we'd let it slide...THIS TIME!  	
	
Next week will be the final week of this inaugural series.  It will be followed up with a
