Not even a Moon Shadow and a cop-sized MagLite flashlight could prevent the front runners from going off course tonight. Ken Hutton and Rick Stemple opted to dodge buses and taxis at Union Station and quickly found themselves chasing the entire pack upon turning back on to Green Street.

Seizing the opportunity, Thaddeus (I need a nickname) Bell held on to the lead until Ernesto (el Jaguar) Soto pounced on his prey in the final stretched of the first anniversary of the An Cù Liath Pub Run.

Post-race, runners dined on Tracy’s meatloaf and cookies, Cyndy’s scalloped potatoes, Tom’s black bean soup, Joe’s brownies, Jack’s Polish cookies, Mark’s maple cheesecake along with assorted chips by Deb and the Bells.

Dagii Bell and Art Balian walked away as proud winners of the raffle prizes. They won free entry, and will proudly be representing the ACL, to The Rás in Somerville on March 16, 2008 www.baevents.com/rasnaheireann . Good luck Dagii and Art.
