Seeley, Allard win 7-mile road race
Bank Square in Eastport was the finish for the 38th annual 
Charles E. Davis Memorial 7-Mile Road Race and 4-Mile Walk on 
Sunday, July 1. Andy Seeley Jr. of Eastport (42:06) defeated 
2006 champ Austin Townsend (42:57) for first place overall. 
The first female finisher was Stephanie Allard of Perry (48:44); 
she was also the 2006 winner. Paul Berg of Machias was the 
4-mile walk winner with a time of 45:22.
Trophies also went to the following: second male, Austin Townsend, 
42:57; third male, Chris Ives, 48:11; second female, Lydia Beal, 58:11; 
third female, Julie Pascone, 64:18; youngest finisher, Matthew Guiold, 
52:16; senior male, Jim Willey, 78:54.
