Pizza night in Worcester. Special thanks to the owners of the Greyhound Pub Paul and Cyndy Curley for their continued hospitality. Post race tonight featured Pizza and a huge anti pasto salad from neighboring Tony's Pizza courtesy of our generous hosts.

Word on the street is that Mike Weinberg is nursing an ITB injury. Didn't seem to slow him down tonight as he went sub 30 for a course pr and his usual Monday Night victory. Shortly before the race he was seen ingesting something resembling a gel pack. The package has been recovered and sent to the lab for analysis. If there is anything suspect in that gel we'll know shortly. 'Till then we'll be keeping an eye on Mike " I ain't no Barry Bonds" Weinberg.

A new face in the crowd this evening belonged to Wendy Burdett of Worcester. Sporting a vintage 1979 high school track running jacket, Wendy went out for an easy mile hoping to get back to those 20 minute 5Ks of her college days. Attempting a comeback after many years is no easy task but Wendy seems ready to make it happen and we'll hopefully be part of that.

We're here every Monday at 6:30 pm in any kind of weather. Only one more week of running in complete darkness and then we'll move the clocks forward an hour three weeks early this year. So all of you who are afraid of the dark will have no excuse for not running on Monday night.
