been hearing lately from the peanut gallery is how great the new
Springsteen/Seeger sessions are and BS's continued political rants outside of
just playin' the music..so I popped out my ole dusted record "George Harrison
and Friends-Concert for Bangladesh" this week...and haven't been able to take it
off the record player...the first real "LIVE AID"...type of concert of
superstars...and a real gem!! Leon singing Jumpin' Jack Flash is better than the
Stones ever played it and this scribe has seen them do it live a
number of times:>) So tonight we tributed Leon Russell who just showed up in
1971 to play the music and to tell us how to treat our "ole
ladies".
My timing company fell "Asleep at the Wheel"
tonight...to busy chatting and missing some real important folks in the
results...everyone is important and this is the reason I tell ya to all stay
away from the timing company when the race is
on-going!!
