Cambridge Duathlon III & 2.6

It's worth noting that that "Mighty Mick" Jack Curtin broke
30 minutes tonight at 74 or abouts years old in the 2.6 Miler...first time this
year and a goal of the "Mighty Mick's"...all the ole folk at the Cambridge &
Somerville YMCA's will now have to pop the corks off of that cheap
champagne that they have been saving for this incredible feet:>) Congrats
Jack..next beer is on you at the French Club for me mentioning this to the World
and parts of Puerto Rico and Mansfield, Massachusetts!!
And we had
another duathlon tonight....that drew a few new folk like Tricia Kelly of
Medford, Massachusetts...she was throughly embarrassed by "The Big Fella" only a
week back and she still came back to take on a few other of the tough lasses in
the duathlon that was won by top lass MaryEllen Sawyer who has been winning
everything that "The Big Fella" has been able to throw at her--it was oh so
close but she whupped Sue Nichols also of Newton,
Massachusetts:>)
Dick "I Do" Doran has won the first three duathlon's
this year in the 50-50 age bracket and a challenege has been thrown out to him
to win the next two for a special prize....the prize is costly so yes.."The Big
Fella" has to now see about bringing in some talent to win one...any 50-59 year
olders out there that can come in and dethrone Dick "I Do" Doran in
August???
Okay, that is it for now..off for a few
days of swimming in Wellfleet and enjoying some nice steamers and cold beer at
