We had our first native WormTown Runner tonight at the weekly Paulie's House Run...it wasn't easy either and yet he was right under our noses!!

Buddy the Beagle as pictured above had bounced around a number of Worcester homes until he settled into the Worcester Dog Shelter for a spell.........one quiet July 5th - "The Big Fella" aka Paulie decided it was time to get a dog...and the rest is Worcester History:>)

Buddy the Beagle has run 5M on the Charles River but  his favorite running haunt is the trails within the woods at Newton Hill in Worcester, Massachusetts...... he even once paced the lead pack at one of the "Friends of Newton Hills" X-Country Races a number of years back!!

Anyway, Buddy who is also the "President for Life" of the Somerville Striders Athletic Club has offered to be the actively running Native WormTown ambassador at the weekly runs for the time being:>)
