26th Annual GMAA Partner's Race

4.8 miles
July 9, 2005
Jericho Center, VT

Weather: 65 degrees with a steady rain
Race director: Sue Turcotte
Summary: A steady rain, heavier at times, was the theme at this year's race. Despite the weather a normal size field ran the race and finishing times were competitive, although no team age group records were set. Make-shift tents by Dennis Bolio managed to keep registration forms, timers and food as dry as possible. The top four teams finished within a minute and a half of each other. Jennifer Hill and Michael Early combined in 59:21 for a 17 second win over Megan Valentine and Nathen Fields in 59:38. Kristi Cruz and McKew Devitt rounded out the top three in 60:43. Jessica and Damien Bolduc finished fourth and defended their crown as the the first married partners in 60:48. The first seven finishers were men, led by McKew Devitt in 27:43. The next five finishers (all within 1:05!) were women led by Jennifer Hill in 31:00.
Volunteers: Dennis Bolio, Russ Cook, Chuck Arnold, Julie Moultrop, Carl Possidente and Jen Early
Scoring: Ages and times of male/female partners are added together
