Summary: 131 runners finished the race in near ideal spring conditions. At the mile 5 water stop Katherine Greenin led Bridget Ferrin while Mark Churchill led Rob Lukaskiewicz, Ben Schersten, McKew Devitt, Jim Farrington, and Jack Pilla in order respectively. At the mile 9 water stop, the top three men remained the same, while Jack Pilla moved up to the four spot and John Daly moved up to the five spot. (Women's info is not available for mile 9) Where it counts at the finish, Mark maintained his position (by 7 seconds!) over Rob and McKew moved up to the three spot as they finished in times of 1:17:02, 1:17:09, and 1:19:31. On the women's side, Katherine Greenin outran Cindy New and Bridget in times of 1:29:42, 1:32:46, and 1:33:43 respectively. Two age group records fell in the 27th edition of the race - Liz Foster took almost 2 minutes of the prior 50s record with a 1:43:26 finish and Rosemary Rusin bettered her 2004 record by a minute and a half with a 2:02:42 finish.
