You know your race in Urban Worcester is starting to get legitimized with the lass's when you have two hyphenated surnames in your results....Cambridge, Somerville, Paris, France and now Worcester, Massachusetts is where the women run and run and run..just check out tonights Castle Hill Park X-Country For Kid's results....all girls:>)

The Race Director is a running babe magnet:>)..anyway enough of that nonsense cause we had another big time battle tonight between the high schoolers of Central Mass w/ Alexander Engle putting a last nano second starching on last weeks winner, Mike Allen tonight at the Finish Line and this is no ordinary Finish Line.....you think Winter Hill in Somerville, MA is daunting at the very beginning..try Queen Street in Worcester, MA some time with the hill at the very end...only tough runners race this course and I mean tough ones!! I can envision the crowds lined up on Queen Street next Monday in anticipation of the rematch between Alexander Engle & Mike Allen!!!

And before I go...well at least until the next race or thought and there always is a next race and thought--mucho congratulations to Rob Marhefka who is quickly taming the mean streets of Main South and the hill at Queen Street..it say's here that he breaks 26 minutes before we say sayonara to the 2005 Racing Season on "The Hill" in Worcester Urban, Massachusetts:>) 

Oh alright..one more congrats to Susan Leo-Johnson who not only brought brownies and a great hubby who brought along some Red Stripe for the RD..she raced the Danskin Triathlon in Webster, MA over the weekend and still had some energy left to bake brownies and race "The Hill" tonight..that my friends is an All-American Woman:>)
