It was just like the
old days in the beginning, with Patrick and I showing up, knowing that soon the
word would get out. Alex Diaz, another Bostonian, appeared just before the
start. It was actually a nice run; there was very little traffic, and
therefore a quiet and solitude that only those running on what most would think
a bad night for running would experience. I'm sure next week will be 60
degrees and clear with a mob of people looking to beat me and then laugh about
it over numerous beers. Charlotte has some wacky weather! Thanks to
Patrick and Alex for coming out when I'm sure they would've rather been lounging
on the sofa watching jeopardy. ;-)
