Ugh, Mike Moran showed up ready to whomp me, and to make it
worse Joe Buechler came out to add the proverbial insult to injury. My course
record is still intact, but only because Mike still doesn't know the course well
enough to cut the corners for the shortest route. My days are numbered. Thanks
to everyone who came out, and especially the new folks like Joe Buechler, Kerry
Rhyme, Kyle, and Jill Kellen who brightened my day by letting me know she
actually read about the "dead zones" (very large spaces of ocean that don't have
enough oxygen to support marine life-caused by, yeah, go figure, human
pollution). Cool young lady. Hope everyone has a great time in Charleston this
weekend, and I'll see everyone next week.
