616 Broadway-off Ball Square

Somerville, MA 02144

Hosted by the Somerville Striders Athletic Club

You compliment them one night and the next night they go into hiding over a little rain...I'm talkin' about women- who else could I be!!! We still had em' but only a few of em'!!

Anyway, the guys showed up as usual...a men's night out is a men's night out and we had some men tonight!! Chris Shaffer who slugged it out all summer long at the SSAC "Let's Run Series" joined us this evening...and he slugged it out with last week's D.A.V. winner Brendan McWilliams tonight...Chris slugged it out just a wee bit more:>)

But enough about women and men sluggin' it out....cause on a secret 1st ballot after midnight...yup some of us stay up that late analyzing our race...Jeremy Selwyn was unanimously voted in as the newest member of the Somerville Striders Athletic Club...the man is always up for volunteering at the SSAC battery of races and as the official
"Snack Judge" in the United States of America...he is always treating "made members" of the SSAC Famalia to tasty snacks...this week the club gave "Sam & Martin's" The Ultimate Popped Potato Chips-Bar-B-Que style a "10" on the tasty scale:>)
