The Somerville Road Runners
The Somerville Road Runners (SRR) is geared toward all
ages and abilities. No one is too old, too slow, or too
large for us. While many of us are very competitive, we
never let that get in the way of a good time. You'll find
that most SRR events conveniently begin or end at a local
watering hole or eating establishment.
For nine years, SRR have sponsored a weekly group run/race
from Khoury's State Spa in Somerville. Always free, this
4.13 mile run begins at 7:15pm every Thursday night and
typically draws 20 to 60 runners.
The club also sponsors four official races per year,
plus weekly track workouts and regular long runs hosted
from different locations throughout the metropolitan
Boston area. For details, consult the SRR web site
at www.srr.org.
