Week 9 (August 5)

The weather broke in time to make good conditions for running and it showed. In cat. 4, newcomer, Franc Karpo, lowered the Best Time to 21:40, in cat 3, Jill Trotter lowered her Best Time to 23:31 and Nancy Byrne finally reached her goal of capturing the ALL TIME BEST in cat. 5 with a time of 25:24. In the "points game" for walkers, Kim learned had 38 pts for first, Karina Suszynski had second with 37 and Ken Hanly had third with 36. Next week, runners will be guessing their position. Remember that week 11 is the last week for scoring points. The last wee (Aug. 26) is party night. Hope to see you next week.
