With two time champion Frank Sutman out of town, the overall winner's place at the  
Guana River Ultra Trail Run 50 km was up for grabs.  Eric Norris bested the other 
individual entrants with a 5:04:31 victory at the South Ponte Vedra Beach event 
on Sunday, March 28th.  Amy Costa took the women's crown in 5:26:53 on the warm, 
nearly cloudless morning.  Paul Wilson and Mike Ryan teamed up to win the men's relay 
in 3:46:36 with Bill Dunn and Darien Andreu taking the mixed relay championship in 
3:54:14.  Race Director David Hatten noted the largest entry field in the race's three 
year history and forecast an even larger turnout next year.
