5K Run For The Bears

Pigeon Forge, TN, September 27, 2003

On an ideal autumn morning in the shaddow of the Great Smoky Mountains, Jared Segera of Columbia, KY received $500 for his winning effort of 15:14. The women's winner, Catherine Berry of Johnson City, TN received $500 for her winning time of 17:06. This race was the first event in this race to benefit the Appalachian Bear Center. Race headquarters was at the Black Bear Jamboree Dinner and Show theater in Pigeon Forge, TN.
