YMCA TRIATHLON GOES OFF WITHOUT A HITCH Under beautiful blue skies and mild temperatures, the Greater Manchester Family YMCA, in collaboration with the Concord YMCA, held its 6th Annual Triathlon on September 6. With nearly 200 participants in the adult division and approximately 55 participants in the youth division, the event consisted of a swim, bike ride, and run through Clough State Park in Weare. The youth division, ages 9-14 years old, included a 250 yard swim, a 4 mile bike ride and a 1 mile run. The adult division included a ½ mile swim, a 16 mile bike ride and a 3 mile run.

Winners were announced as follows: Youth Male overall winner: Ian Tovell, Gilford, NH Time 25:35 Youth Female overall winner: Danielle Baron, Gilford, NH Time 28:05 Adult Male overall winner: Michael Bradford, Bedford, NH Time 1:18:51 Adult Female overall winner: Sharon Johnson, Atkinson, NH Time 1:27:42
