The Hill Climb, in it's 16th year moved from a summer race to a fall race for the first time. The trail race gains 1200 feet of elevation and reaches the summit of the mountain via the ski area service road. It is a benefit for the Gretchen B. Hatch Memorial Scholarship Fund which provide scholarships to students in the Mt. Washington Valley who show proficiency in academics as well as in the sport of running.
The race is made possible through its generous sponsors including Cranmore Mountain Resort, the White Mountain Milers, EMS, Flatbread Pizza, Hannaford, Rick Copley's Ultimate Fitness, Shaw's, Walmart & Zeb's General Store.
