Are You Nuts? Trail Running Series - 10K

With all the snow the week prior, the Are You Nuts? Race Directors were worried that the Squak Mountain Trail Run was going to have to be a snowshoe. They were pleasantly surprised to see the weather clear for the March 23rd race. In fact spring had sprung as the sun peaked through the clouds and the temperature felt unusually warm.

Thanks to Cliff Bar for providing everybody with fuel for the race. Also, thanks to Talking Rain, Isis Sportswear for Women, Red Bull, and the volunteers.

The top three in each category received prizes. The first place prize consisted of a one person entry into the Wuhoo! Urban Adventure Race at Point Defiance Park, May 11 and a 1 year subscription to Trail Runner Magazine. These were awarded to John Berta and Diane Degrasse. The second place prize consisted of an entry into another Are You Nuts? Trail Race and 1 year subscription to Trail Runner Magazine. These were awarded to Isaac Bertschi and Michelle Halsne. The third place prize consisted of a cross training log and 1 year subscription to Trail Runner Magazine. These were awarded to Duncan Coo and Malia Greening.
