Summary: We did not advertise in the Free Press due to growing numbers at races and our limited
capacity. We had 84 runners and 83 finishers. It was the absolute best weather EVER
for this race, with no snow on the ground and almost no mud. The temperature was at 15
degrees overnight and reached only 35 degrees at race time. Bright sun and light breeze
made for a very pleasant run. Norm Larson won for the men in 36:53 while Sue McNamara won for the women in 42:26.
