The start of the 12-day delayed kids mile

Please note the results of our most recent 5K and Kids 1 Mile race held on Saturday, June 29,2002 in Deer Park. The race is our annual Independence 5K & Kids 1 Mile held on the last Saturday in June. 5K race start was at 7am to be followed at 8am by our Kids 1 Mile. Due to thunderstorms, our Kids Mile was postponed until a later date. The runners of our 5K ran in a steady downpour. Times are not available for all runners due to a very wet printer, however places are accurate.

The Kids Mile was run on July 11th - see results below.

Kids Mile Results

After a rain out on June 29th, we successfully ran our kids mile on Thursday July 11, 2002. We had 16 young runners who all did a great job. Thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting our race.
