A record of sorts tonight...everyone under 30 minutes...hurry of some sorts to get back to the VFW Logan Post to sit around the fire and cuddle up with our Harpoon pints and chat about the recent developments around the world and local...a smart bunch we are at the VFW Logan Post..always crossing our T's and dotting our I's:>)

A new guy tonight who said he can run 5's but didn't tonight, Rich Rodgers.....and a native to boot..last native of Somerville to run 5's was Tommy Joyce...former winner of the Cape Cod Marathon when it had no lighthouses on the course, no ocean breezes and no goody bags full of refrigerator magnets..just a runner with his nose to the grindstone when he raced..we welcome Rich and look forward to him making a run at the course record...

The anticipation is building for the next biggie in Somerville...no NOT the New Years Eve -Somerville "Last Night" 5Km Fun Run but the November 14, 2002 VFW Logan Post 100% Beef & Ale Run....a Thursday Night Road Race and BBQ....yee ha!!
