Brag about great weather on Thursday Nights and all that will do is make the Weather God's snear at you and say "take this"...snow, wind, cold, ahhh a New England night in the winter...

Sorry for the delay on results...lots of work going on in regards to the upcoming Sheraton Hyannis Marathon, Half Marathon, 10Km and Marathon Team Relay..I even blamed not raking the leaves in my mothers yard on this...butt here they are,,and a hardy bunch we are at the VFW Logan Post 5.1Km..folks who would show up even during a nuclear fallout or invasion of locusts..

Standout runner tonight was Dave Birse who traveled all the way from Hancock, New Hampshire through even tougher weather north of us to run and hang with us...Dave and I go way back to some old time Khoury's Thursday Night Runs and we both once toed the line at the 1995 Belmont 10 Miler in Belmont, New Hampshire--a crowd of 60 that day and considered by some to be the toughest 10 Miler in New England...nice comfortable crowd of revelers around the fireplace and outdated jukebox...post race
