VFW Logan Post 5.1Km - Hosted by the Somerville Striders Athletic Club A balmy night in Somerville tonight...not good - not bad, kind of a celebration in that it was 7 years ago tonight that Thursday Night running in Somerville started..at a time when the only thoughts of Somerville running to a runner outside of the (617) area code was of shock and disbelief..BUT we knew better and some just take a little longer..build it and they will come as many others had done before in the past with some great oldies but goodies still in many Somerville racing dreams..Coogles 4 Miler, Bumps Run, BullPen 4, St. Paul's 3 Miler & the famed Somerville Road Race..

Now the new creation and a grand one it is...the VFW Logan Post 5.1Km...and being visited by many who started running Thursday Nights 7 years ago...welcome aboard to old and new...
