"We came all the way from Leominster via Florida on the same day and you only want to run 2.6 miles....I had better get a dinner on Newbury Street out of all this foolishness"...words bellowed out by new MOM, Amanda Whittemore to her recently turned 40 years old hubby Jimmy Whittemore who loves nothing better when he's not teaching big kiddies in Spencer, MA -than to get on Rt 2 eastbound to run and carouse with his Somerville homies....Somerville/Cambridge and Leominster still have a lot in common once you weed through all the cafe latte shops, houses with purple doors and carpetbaggers..

And speaking of Eastbound traveling...Greg Larson who just by lookin' at him you know loves the finer things in life..runs the race of his life..and is the winning man in the 5.2 miler..but ahhhhhhh look closer..two speedy Gonzales type running babes beat him..one beating the other by a single eye lash..thats the 2nd time in Papa Clyde's short time on the planet that a women has WON a race that I have directed...AND don't loose sight that Marie Kemp won the 2.6 miler again..that girl can fly....Cheers to the ladies:>)

Anyway, be on the lookout for something funky, eclectic, off the wall and down right fun on August 15th...PC is putting down his race directing wand and passing it on to Matt Corcoran who is wearing the Race Director hat this night...it's so secretive that even PC doesn't know what it will be..COME ON DOWN TO FIND OUT...
