The 1st Annual Survivor 5K was held Saturday May 26th to benefit the Foundation For Cancer Survival in Atlanta, GA. The course was a rolling 3-loop criterium style course with a live DJ playing music throughout the race.

Malcolm Campbell beat out Master John Tuttle 15:08 to 15:09 in the final stretch to grab the overall title and a 3-night hotel stay at a destination of his choice. Pete Rea finished 3rd overall in 15:26.

In the women's field, Judy Johnson ran away from the field in 17:35 to claim the 3-night hotel stay in the destination of her choice. Followed by Donna Anderson in 18:38 and Bee Meyer in 18:54 respectively. Laura Brewer won 1st overall Female Master in 19:13.

The weather was rather cool for Atlanta with low humidity and about 70 degrees at the start for the 145 finishers in the race.
