Lindholm and Munz Victorious

For the second year in a row J.T. Lindholm of Eagle River and Patricia Munz of Anchorage set new records at the Resurrection Pass 50 mile footrace on the Kenai Peninsula. Lindholm shaved over 25 minutes off the previous record in the amazing time of 6 hours, 59 minutes and 55 seconds. Munz bested the previous woman's record by 2 seconds.

Saturday's run was the sixth edition of the event and featured the largest field ever. There were 17 starters and 15 finishers on the course which started at Cooper Landing and ranged over the Resurrection Pass Trail to the Coeur d'Alene Campground near Hope.
