For those who may have anticipated that RTW #18, being run in late September, would be blessed by the coolest temperatures since April, it didn't happen. Under clear skies, the temperature at the 8:00AM start was in the mid-80's - on the way to a day's high in the mid-90's - and the humidity was intense.

A reminder that the RTW 5K's are run on the second and fourth Saturday of every month. The next race is scheduled for Saturday, October 14th. Entry fee is $1.00 (that's one dollar).
